With Monizze, Hexeko rolls out its mobility budget effortlessly
In April 2025, Hexeko implemented the mobility budget with RewardFlex, Monizze's tool for flexible remuneration. As one of the first beta customers, Hexeko shares its experience today. We speak with Diane Louppe, responsible for all HR aspects within this Belgian fintech.

Can you briefly introduce Hexeko?
Hexeko is a Belgian start-up that has been active in the sector of payment solutions for fringe benefits for four years. We are part of the Up group. The company has about forty employees, and I am only responsible for the complete HR management.
What convinced you to choose RewardFlex for the mobility budget?
I discovered RewardFlex during an HR seminar, where I met the HR director of Monizze. Because we belong to the same group and were already Monizze customers for our meal vouchers, it was logical and easy to also manage the mobility budget via the same platform.
That's a big advantage of RewardFlex: our vouchers and mobility budget together in one place. This simplifies the administration of fringe benefits, and it is useful for our employees to find everything in one app.
How did the implementation go?
Very smoothly. We received demonstrations from Monizze beforehand and took the time to prepare the employees well. As a result, the onboarding went smoothly and intuitively.
We had direct contact with Monizze. Our feedback was listened to and taken into account to implement practical improvements. That really gave us the feeling of being really supported and that the solution grows with the reality on the ground.
How has RewardFlex simplified your HR management?
We want to continuously make our salary packages more attractive and competitive. That is why we decided a year and a half ago to investigate the mobility budget. Although we are located in La Hulpe, this initiative has been very well received by our employees.
Initially, it required a lot of preparation: understanding the legislation, drafting accession documents, developing policy and formalizing budgets. But once that foundation was in place, everything became very simple thanks to RewardFlex.
The platform automates most of the process. I only need to validate the expenses on a monthly basis. What we feared as an extra workload now turns out to be surprisingly fast and efficient to manage thanks to RewardFlex.
How did your employees react?
Mostly positive: 85% of the employees who were eligible opted for the mobility budget.
Our team is young and familiar with mobile apps. Monizze's is particularly simple and intuitive. To submit an expense, employees only need to take a photo of their ticket, enter the amount and date, and you're done. RewardFlex ensures that everything is paid correctly and on time.
In terms of use, the majority of our team mainly goes for the repayment of rent or mortgage loan and soft mobility.
In addition, the mobility budget has caused some to discover new ways of getting around, such as taking the train for holidays. It encourages our employees to rethink their mobility, even outside the commute.
What benefits do you experience as HR?
Firstly, it increases our attractiveness in recruitment: offering a mobility budget appeals to young talents. Secondly, it provides employees who choose to do so with a concrete financial benefit. And finally, it stimulates creativity in mobility choices.
In 2026, we are thinking of introducing a cafeteria plan. That would be an extra asset, and with RewardFlex we can manage it within the same system as our mobility budget and our vouchers, a big plus.

What advice would you give to companies that are in doubt?
Now is the time to introduce a mobility budget. Society is evolving towards more ecology, the labour market towards more flexibility, and the mobility budget reflects this evolution. It shows that as a company you think about your impact and internal diversity, and employees recognize themselves in that.
But: do it right. Launching a mobility budget without properly informing your employees or using a cumbersome tool does not work. The solution must be attractive and deliver on the promise.
You can't go wrong with a tool like RewardFlex: the app is easy to use, offers an excellent user experience, and requires little management after launch. It is the perfect combination: it is competitive and convincing in recruitment, and motivating for employees because they can put together their own package.
👉 In summary: At Hexeko, RewardFlex has not only simplified the management of the mobility budget, but has also convinced 85% of employees and strengthened the attractiveness of the company.
